The Central Administration for Scientific Activities facilitates the planning of research activities by creating opportune links between the Board of Departments and the departments themselves. It promotes and supports the involvement of the CRA’s various bodies in national and international research programs, including through cooperative efforts with other scientific institutes. It establishes planning procedures for the various bodies’ research activities, also in the way of management and assessment; provides support to research centers and units in implementing their project plans and subsequently overseeing their monitoring; facilitates the integration of  the agency’s activities with those of other national and international research bodies; and handles the dissemination and transfer of research results.
